As many of you know, Ben was selected as a People To People Student Ambassador for the summer of '09. Many of you have been donating and supporting his fundraisers and we are very thankful. The total we are trying to raise is near $8000. Almost $7000 of that is due mid April. He has raised, thanks to everyone we know, is over $3000. Yes, that means we have about $4000 still to raise. Lord willing, it will be done!!
His next fundraiser is going to be March 20, 2009 and will be a sack lunch delivery. We will be taking orders for barbeque sandwich, chips and dessert and then delivering them to all the businesses and people we get orders from. If you would like to order or know someone who would just post or let me know.
Ben has been attending training once a month in Atlanta with his delegation to prepare for his trip to Australia. Last month he got to do some rock climbing (yes it was fun) to prepare to scale a castle wall. Anybody else wish they were going? I do!!!
