B1G1 Sales Matched With B1G1 Coupons

Hope this explaination helps someone in learning how to use coupons.

Sale - B1G1 item
Coupon - B1G1

Most stores will offer a sale like above and you get blessed and have a coupon like above.

Grocery stores will do the sale as such:

get 2 items with a $2.99 shelf price each
both items will ring up at the register for $1.50 each lets say
then you hand them a B1G1 coupon
they will deduct $1.50 for your coupon
total due is $1.50/2
or hand them (2) $ off coupons, lets say $1/1, and you would pay $0.99/2

Drug stores (RiteAid, CVS, and if your lucky Walgreens)

2 items are $2.99 each shelf price
one item will ring up $2.99
one item will ring up $0
hand them either a B1G1 coupon and they will deduct another $2.99 = $0/2
or hand them $ off coupon lets say $1/1 , you would hand them (2) $1/1 cpns and you would pay $0.99/2

Clear as mud, right :)
